First I should tell a little about myself. I was born in Raleigh, NC at the old Rex Hospital. I have lived in Cary, NC all of my life and have seen a lot of changes. The small little quiet town that I lived in during my childhood is not so small and quiet anymore.
My grandmother Laurie Cooper was a very successful Real Estate agent in the Triangle area. I can remember her whipping up great Sunday lunches after church only to have the phone ring which resulted with her running off to show houses while everyone else enjoyed the meal she prepared. The main thing she concentrated on was helping people, and that will be my main focus as well. My father Alex Cooper has operated a surveying company in the Triangle area for the last 37 years. Working with him has definitely allowed me to learn that Real Estate does not just mean a house, it also includes the land and all mineral rights involved.
Having lived in NC my entire life I know that there are plenty of things to do and places to see in this wonderful state. Hopefully in the coming days I will be able share some of these places. This weekend I plan to visit a unique barbecue restaurant in Carthage that is located adjacent to a small airfield. The draw of eating NC barbecue on a porch only a few yards from a small airfield landing strip is just to strong to resist….I’ll let you know how it goes.
